Every week Dutch Delights introduces a fellow blogger, or designer to share their five favourite Dutch things regarding art, design and lifestyle. Please meet Martine!

Martine is owner of papergoods-store Een Nieuw Avontuur and the fabulous pom pom company Omstebeurt . She blogs about her work, her family and lots of other beautiful stuff, shares her top five with us. Besides running her business and her blog Martine is also a mom of two sons. She loves Caffe Latte, fine papergoods, fascinating stories and much more. Check out her blog to find out!

1. Everything that I love is being combined in the designs of Jane Schouten. Vintage fabrics, beautiful words, handcraft and imperfections. Jane has her own label All the luck in the world with colourful home accessoires and jewellery. And also vintage goods, where she has a remarkable eye for!

2. My youngest son is currently under the spell of the alphabet. Janneke Zantinge from Hikje recently made this nice ABC-poster which decorates the wall of his room and at the same time is being used actively.

3. When I’m working I am by myself so I listen to music the whole day.Via Twitter I recently discovered Eefje de Visser, we are a match made in heaven! Unexpected sounds and rhythms, a pleasant -not to pretentious- voice, lyrics that give me new insights. And here website looks and feels right. Her CD is my most bought present for others and I listen to it all the time myself.

Twitter also turned out to be a good medium for the makers of Kruidnotenkookboek.
They found eachother by tweeting about kruidnoten (Kruidnoten are a treat that Sinterklaas brings with him every year) and this book full of recipes that include kruidnoten is a result of their collaboration. It’s full of delicious recipes and it has a very nice graphic design layout. Of course their timing (in the middle of Sinterklaas-time) is perfect! Extra nice; all the pictures for the book were shot in our kitchen.

I bumped into Tineke Meirink’s work by accident 1,5 year ago, and she hasn’t left my mind since. I think it’s miraculous how she can make something out of nothing. I am most impressed by her collection of old wood and the pictures on her blog. Cracks in the road become funny caracters and an old nail becomes the beak of a bird. Tineke makes my heart weak and brings a smile to my face. She gives her viewer a new perspective on things, beautiful!
